knowledge made executable
code is knowledge made executable. the 0s and 1s don't sit around an explanation, they are the explanation, written precisely enough for matter to run. that's why software changes the world. anything the laws of physics allow is achievable; the only barrier is not yet knowing how, and there's no end to knowing how. ai is the first thing other than a human mind that can create that knowledge. i think it's the most important thing happening in our time.
